"The Final Judgment is not just an evaluation of a sum total of good and evil acts--what we have done. It is an acknowledgement of the final effect of our acts and thoughts-- what we have become." - Elder Dallin H. Oaks

DON'T FORGET!!!!

Hey guys! Don't forget to vote for who your favorite singer is. It's on the right, down. . .down. . . down. . . down. . . There you go! As you can probably see, Taylor Swift is winning. but if you don't think she should win, then vote for the person who you think should win. You only have until Halloween to vote, then I'll be announcing the winner!

Phone Calls and Quests

Hey guys! Guess what?! Keila called me the other day! I talked to her for about a half hour actually. I found out that her birthday is on October 30th, or Halloween eve. So I'm going to send her a present from all of the young women in our ward. We're going to send her a group picture of all of us, a card signed by all of us, snickers, and gum (because she told me gum id her favorite thing). So ya! If you don't know who Keila is, she's the in the picture on the right. She is in foster care. She was in a family in our ward, and she became one of our best friends. She isn't LDS, but she came to young women's and church, and she really liked it. She also came with us to 's Camp. She was so amazing! Keila is one of the nicest, sweetest s you'll ever meet. Now she lives in West Jordan, in a s' Home. She goes to young women's evry week with the s in her neighborhood, and she has made good friends there. She also informed me tha she has a crush on a boy that is one of her friends. She described him as hard working, nice, funny, and cute. So anyway, we all miss her, and hope that she can visit us sometime soon!
Hmmm. . . what else is there to talk about. . . OH YA!!
So yesterday, Elise Reidelbach and I went to the mall to get shirts for choir. I found one in JCPenny. But Elise didn't find one that she liked, and we went through every single clothing store in the mall! We were there for about 2 and a half hours. Anyway, I hope she finds one before our choir concert on Wednesday.
When I got home yesterday, my mom was watching this thing on the History Channel about D-day. It was actually pretty interesting. It was like an actual movie, not a documentary. But after a while I got kinda confused, because I didn't know who the characters were and stuff. So my dad and I went in their room and watched Madagascar on his laptop. It was fun. I love that movie! It's hilarious!!!
Ya. . . what else. . . oh yes! I also made dinner for my mom and I last night. (My dad wanted a PB&J sandwich so I didn't make any for him.) I made spaghetti, and garlic bread. I made the garlic bread with english muffins. They were really good! And so was the spaghetti. I just needed to cook the spaghetti for another minute, then it would have been perfect. Ya. So it really pays off to watch the Food Network. I love Rachael Ray and this one show called Cooking with the Neelys. I love to cook now! Especially when I end up cooking something that actually tastes like food. Lol.
Anyway. . . tomorrow in English, we have to take a song that we think is poetic. I'm not sure what I'm going to take. I'm thinking that I might take Angel by Sarah Mclaughlin. It's a really pretty song and I think it wounds pretty poetic. You might not think so, but Chad Camp is doing It's My Life by Bon Jovi. Now you tell me which you think would be more poetic. Personally I think mine would be.
Well, I've got to go get ready for church. Talk to ya later!
