Holy Cow!!

Hola! Lol. It's been forever! And there are only 4 days until Christmas!! Isn't it wonderful?!
I hope it snows on Christmas. How magical would that be? :)
Lol. Rachel and Susie and I went to the mall while my mom was in Costco, and I tried on these 6 inch heels, and I was as tall as Susie, and now I'm really obsessed with them, and I really want to go buy them. Ha ha, so we'll see if that happens.
Yesterday I was sick so I didn't go to church. I ended up reading over 5oo pages. Lol. I haven't read that much in a while.
It's also Christmas Break!! Yay!! We don't have to go back until the 4th of January!
I have a new favorite song, it's called Superstar by Taylor Swift. It's on the playlist if you want to hear it. :D
Well, I'm hungry, so I'm going to go find something yummy to eat. Talk to ya later!

Longest Day of My Life

Hey guys! How's everyone doing? It's been forever! I'm sorry! I certainly have time to blog, but sometimes it just slips my mind. :D
Let's see. . . Since I last blogged, a couple thing have happened. I got 100% on a math test, which is a miracle, I assure you. Of course, Thanksgiving came our way, and we chased it to Idaho Falls. That was a blast! I got to see my grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles! On Thanksgiving Day, my aunt Eileen and I ran a 5k. My first one!! It was lovely! And it didn't hurt that there was a pretty cute guy that I saw helping with the fences and stuff. :D
I am in the Advanced Women's Ensemble (choir) and yesterday, all the advanced choirs had our big, annual Holiday Dinner. We left school at 12:15 and went over to the Provo Library where we rehearsed our show up in the Ballroom. It was goregously decorated! There were lights and trees and all manner of Christmas decorations everywhere! We did a matinee at 3:30 and then a dinner show at 7. It went beautifully. But that was probably one of the longest days of my life. Not that it wasn't fun, it's just that we were there from 12:30-9:30. Ha ha. Oh well, it was a great experience. One of the soloist started to cry because he was singing Christmas Shoes, and his mom was sitting in the audience. How sweet is that?! After the whole thing was over, we gathered in the lobby out side the Ballroom and sang Christmas songs, and talked and laughed and hugged and laughed some more. It was like a huge family reunion! I love the feeling you get with a huge group of teenagers like that, when we've all worked so hard together and now we're just one huge family. :) That's what Christmas is all about.
Well, I hope you all are having a wonderful December so far! I love you all!

fun fun fun!

Hey guys! How's it going? So, guess what?!! My mom and I got new phones! I got the awesome samsung highlight and so did my mom. But she went in and got a different one today because she doesn't like touchscreen. :)
See!! Look!! There it is!!! Hello little beauty. :D It's orange you guys! Not just black! It's orange and has red on it!! AAAH!! And it's touchscreen! I went and got a clear cover thing put on the screen so that it won't get scratched! Yay!! Lol. I'm so happy. :D
I have a new number now though, and that keeps throwing me off, but it's ok. I'm not the one that calls me. :D
Anyway, that's my awesome news. I also have some other news that I can't tell aboutl. But it was a great Saturday!
Lol.
I love all of you!

I've had that song in my head all day. . .

Hey guys! I know I know. If you were to look at the time stamp on this it would say "Rachel is supposed to be at church right now", but I went to sacrament meeting then came home because my dad is not feeling too well. So I promise I'm not ditching. :)
Mom went out of town on Friday, and won't be back until about noon.
Yesterday my dad and I went to the ward Halloween party. We had a great turn out and it was a lot of fun! I helped with the cakewalk and that was a blast! Lol. I dressed up as Taylor Swift (Thanks to Loryn lending me her boots!) and I saw costumes ranging from pirates, to Nacho Libre, to hippies, to celebrities, to washing machines. That's right, I said washing machines. Megan Hansen showed us all up by dressing up as a washing machine. Ha ha. She's awesome.
Afterward dad and I went and got Little Ceasar's pizza and came home and watched Nacho Libre. It was pretty fun!
So, now for the part that has to do with the title of this post, I've had this song in my head the whole day!! It's called Fireflies by Owl City. It's a pretty cool song! (And it's on my playlist if you want to hear it!) Lol.
Anyway, I am going to go read a book. Probably Inkspell or Inkdeath. We'll see.
Love you all (inf)(pl) -(sorry, practicing for my spanish quiz tomorrow)

WOWEE!!

Lol. Like the title? Hey guys!!
It's been FOREVER!! It's fall break and I'm so glad!! I took the PSAT at 7:30 on Wednesday, but other than that, I've been able to sleep in. :D I still have my braces on, and it'll probably be that way for a while. Sad day!!
I babysat already today, and I'm off to babysit again in about ten minutes.
Soon, a fall theme will be coming to the blog, so don't worry!! It's on its way!!
I just have to take some fall-like pictures first. :D Well, I'd better go get ready. So I'll talk to you guys later!
I love ALL of you!!

NewsFlash!

Hey guys! You should all be fabulous cuz it's the weekend! If you're not fabulous, call me. I'll make you fabulous. :D jk
This morning I went running with Aunt Eileen. Then we rode our bikes down to the farmer's market and then to a restaurant called Guru's. Aunt Eileen had a beautiful salad and I had a Thai Peanut Pasta. I got the half size and it was so big!! Wow that thing was huge. :D It was so delicious! With our meal we had the famous sweet potato fries! They are DIVINE!!
After our wonderful meal, we rode our bikes to the library to return some books, and then we rode home. It was quite the adventure! Thanks so much Aunt Eileen!!
Now, back to the present. BYU is playing Tulane right now. Johnson of BYU just got kneed in the head, so he's laying on the field. I think he might be unconscious. . . . Hope he's okay!!
We're winning right now. It's the 2nd quarter and the score is 6-0. Obviously we're winning. :D
Oh! Johnson's not unconcious! Good! Well, I'm not going to. . . Ha ha! That's Tulane's 2nd failed attempt at a touchdown! Ha ha. :D As I was saying, I'm not going to commentate the whole game. Just gonna have to watch it for yourselves! Love ya'll!

Glasses and Things

Hey guys! How's life? Good? Fabulous! Today I went to the eye doctor.
My left eye is 20/20 and my right eye is 20/80. How weird is that? :D
So I got trial contacts. . . well, a trial contact, and I also ordered some pretty sweet glasses! My glasses are rectangle-ish and they're a copper color with tiny white stripes on the edges and sides. They are sweet!
Right now my eyes are dilated, so they are very sensitive to light. So I'm sacrificing the comfort of my eyes to write this on the computer right now! I hope you're grateful!! Ha ha. Jk. Anyway, that's pretty much the only new thing! Hope you all have a wonderful day! Love ya!

Hey guys! How are you all doing?
News Update:
Levi Heperi left for the MTC today. We wish him and his family well. :)
School has been pretty great! I have been able to keep up with my classes, so all is fabulous! The only thing I'm kind of depressed about is the fact that I haven't found anyone I like yet. :( How depressing is that? Usually, I find someone by the third day of school! How could this happen? Maybe I like someone but I just don't know it yet. . . Hmmmm. . . :) Ok, that thought makes me happier!
Anyway, that's pretty much all I have to say. Last thing, check out some of the new songs I have on MyFaves!! Love y'all!!

Summer Blues

Hey guys! How's it going?
So I'm sure you've heard the bittersweet news by now. School starts this week! AAAH!! How does one prepare for the inevitable? Ah well.
I mean, no one's really excited to go back. I think we all dread the start of the school year really. It's not even going to school that we mind, I think it's more that we don't want to wake up early and have a schedule and do homework. We all rather enjoy our freedom and getting to sleep in and being able to be outside a lot instead of being stuck inside with a pencil and paper in hand.
The bright side of going back to school is the social aspect of the whole thing! We get to see the friends we never saw all summer except for those two minutes when we talked to each other at Walmart. It's so exciting, isn't it? When you think about it, the thing that really helps us get our start at the beginning of the year is that we see our friends, we have new clothes, we have so much to share, we meet new friends, and the possibility of getting lost on the first day. Ha ha. I think that's the best part! :D
On Wednesday it's Freshman Orientation. So only Freshman have to go the whole day, and everyone else goes and gets their school pictures taken. So I don't know what I'm going to do for the rest of the day on Wednesday, but I'm sure I'll think of something.
Do you like the new blog look? I'm thinking of actually keeping the title for a while for once. But let me know what you think! You know I'm always looking for ideas.
Oh, here's an idea! Ever blown out an egg? Ya. Sounds weird, but it's so cool! Here's what you do.
You take a chicken egg and poke a hole in each end of it, making one a bit bigger than the other. Take a pin or tooth pick and stir up the yoke inside. Then blow through the smaller hole and blow out the inside of the egg. (make sure not to squeeze the egg too tight!! :D) After this, run water through the egg to rinse it out. In a bowl or paper cup, make a 1/2 water and 1/2 bleach solution. (so if you put 1/2 cup of water, do 1/2 cup of bleach) Put the egg in this and let it fill up the egg. Let it sit for a half hour, then rinse it out again. Then let it sit out over night to dry. This is such a fun thing to do! When it's all dry, you can decorate it with whatever you like! Lauren and Liam and I did this and it's so cool!
Anyway, that's all from me! Love ya!

More Tales of Adventure. . .

Hey guys! Thursday through Saturday was Youth Conference! We went up to Utah State, and we stayed in the dorms. We had many activities including Workshops, Aggie Games, a dance, a fabulous devotional, and a midnight swim.
During workshops, we played games and also had Spiritual time where we wrote our testimonies.
The Aggie Games we played included capture the flag, rock climbing, kickball, water dodge ball, freeze tag, and Aggie Ice cream. It was a blast!
We had a devotional where John Bytheway came and spoke to us! How wicked is that? He was hilarious, but was also very spiritual. Before that, we had a formal dinner and after the devotional we had a dance! How fun! I danced with a few guys, but mostly hung out with my friends. I learned a couple Puerto Rican dances from Sister Zelaya, and that was fun. I also had a daddy-daughter dance. That was great! Thanks dad!! I heard a lot of songs that I'd never heard before, but that was fun!
They wanted us so prepared for the dance that they made us take a dance instruction class. Ha ha. That was actually pretty good! I learned a bit of swing and cha-cha. I danced with quite a few guys during that and most of the time we couldn't do it, so we were just laughing hysterically. It was great fun!
Anyway, after the dance, we had a midnight swim! We went over to the indoor pool at around 11 and swam until 12:30. Ha ha. You can imagine how crazy we were.
After that, our ward's young women came back to the dorms, sat on the couches, ate snacks and chatted.
It was so much fun!
After we packed up yesterday, our stake went, in our sunday clothes, to a place on campus (it was pouring rain that day) and had a testimony meeting. It was so spiritual! I bore my testimony, and made Loryn go up after me. (He he!) Anyway. It was a great experience.
Then we went and had lunch, and then we got to hear from the first counselor in the Logan Temple presidency. He was great! He told us of many people in the scriptures who were examples of the believers, which was our theme.
Then, alas, it was time to go. So we left and in our car, we listened to Brian Regan all the way home (which I'm not sure was the best idea ever) and Lynnsay Ray and I were pretty much crazy by the end. :D Poor poor Maykela and my parents. Oh well! They lived and we had fun so. . . win win win! Right? Lol. Anyway Youth Conference was great! I'm still sore, but it was fabulous. I'm so glad I went.
Well, I'll talk to ya all later. Love ya!

Do you like my new blog picture and background? I was bored, so that's what I did. That took about an hour or so. Ha ha. It's supposed to take like 5 minutes tops to do something like that, but not for me! I take that stuff seriously man. Jk.
Anyway, I am really super duper tired, so I think I might just go on Facebook or something and do actually nothing! So I'll talk to ya later! Love y'all!

-We got to relax and read and sleep
-We ate lovely food
-We spent time in nature
-We had a FABULOUS time!

So how is everyone else? Are you all doing well?

I'm back!

Hey guys! How's it going?
Last week I went to the Summer festival for Young Musicians at BYU. I had a fabulous time! I met a TON of new friends, and I learned so much about singing, and performance. It was also amazing because I got to spend time with my cousin Renee! I had a great time getting to know her better! At the family reunion, we'll actually know a bit about each other!
Anyway, just thought I'd let you know how fabulous the Festival was. Pictures will be coming soon. . . if I don't forget. . . ha ha. One of the coolest things about the Festival was that we got to go to an elective everyday. I chose to go to a song writing class. I learned so much! I hope it pays off and that it starts to show in my music!
Well, that's all from me for now! I love you all! And have a splendid day. . .I mean night!

Holy Cow!

It seems like forever since I've blogged! Goodness. Anyway, how's it going? I'm pretty fabulous! My first week of summer has been pretty fun! I've gone swimming, seen a movie, laser tagged, played witches, played superheros, made movies and babysat. This week, my family and I will be getting ready for Renee to come. For those of you who don't know her, she is my cousin from Texas. She's coming over for a music festival at BYU. She's participating in the oboe part, and I'm going to be doing it as a choir person. It should be tons of fun! There's a barbecue, a dance and classes that you go to for your instrument. It's going to be great!
Anyway, that's pretty much it. So I'll let you guys know if anything new comes up! Love y'all!

Sad Day, Yet Happy!

Hey guys! Uh. . . I forgot to post about this a couple days ago, but Michael and Dwight are both . They died on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
But on that sad note, they have been replaced and added to! Michael II and Dwight II are both Fancy Guppies (There will be pictures of them soon if they ever decide to sit still for 2 seconds) and the addition is Andy! He is an African Dwarf Frog. They are all so happy in their home.
That's all except for. . . IT'S SUMMERTIME!!

The Dream of Two Little Ladies Come True. . .

Hey guys!! So what I'm about to tell you may seem weird to you, but I'm pretty excited about it!!
Lol. Anyway, yesterday, there was a carnival after school by the football field. So Rachel J and I went, and we played on the blow-up toys and stuff. It was pretty fun!! Then we saw these people carrying goldfish around, and we're like "AAH! We have to go win a goldfish!!"
Ha ha. So of course, we found the booth. It was a free thing, so that was a bonus. There was a small kitty pool with a bunch of plastic cups in it. In the middle was a 'P' (for Provo High) spelled out in green plastic cups. They gave you 3 ping-pong balls and told you to stand behind a line. To win a goldfish, you had to be able to throw at least 1 ball into one of the green cups. So I got it first, but it took me a couple tries, then Rachel J got it too! So we got goldfish! Ha ha. The best part was when we told my mom. We called and told her and she goes ". . . great." Lol. It was good. So she took us to the pet store on the way home, and she went inside and got a tank and stuff. She's wonderful to do that on such short notice. Thanks Mom!! Love you!!
Ya. So here are a couple pictures of them!!

This one's Michael. . .

And this one's Dwight!!

In case you don't know, those are the names of two main characters on The Office. :D I was thinking that after these fish die, Rachel J and I will go to the store and get two new fish and name them Michael and Dwight as well, and so on and so on. It will be a little tradition!!
They are the newest residents of the Covert household! They are living on my desk in a tank that has pink on it. It's pretty sweet!! Oh, and the cat loves them. She hasn't tried to get at them or anything, she just likes to lay on my desk and watch them. It's kinda cute actually!
Lol. Anyway, that's enough fish talk for the day. Love y'all!!

Hey guys!! What's new? Hope everyone is doing just fabulous!!
Well, today I will be complaining, bragging, fretting, and all sorts of other things, so please, bear with me!!
Do you like the new look to my blog? (please leave a comment if you can, as well as any suggestions of phrases or anything I could title my blog with.)
Today in PE, we ran the 12 timed run. So basically what you do is run around the track for 12 minutes and see how far you can go. I ran 4 1/4 laps. So I basically ran 1 1/16 miles. Ha ha. I probably could have done better, but I had a stuffy nose and so I couldn't really breathe!! Lol. Oh well!! So after that, my friend, Stevie, and I played a bit of basketball in the gym. (And let me just say that I am horrible at basketball! I can't make a shot to save my life!! I used to be able to, I don't know what happened!! I'm blaming the ball. It was kind of flat. :D)
The period before that, English, we looked at editorials online, and one of them talked about red headed barbies or something. . . it was weird. Then we play TextTwist on yahoo for the rest of the period. I love Mr. Moore's class!!
In CompTech, I got a paper airplane thrown at me by Mr. Ventura. Lol. It was pretty hilarious!!
At lunch, Rachel J and I went to the auditorium to watch the Chamber Singer men do a hip-hop dance. Lol it was so funny!!
Then, last period of the day, Seminary!! My teacher wasn't there, so our class split up to go to different classes. So I went to Brother Arshad's class with my friend Lauren. All the Seminary teachers are great! So it was great fun!!
So here's he fretting part of the whole thing. I haven't gotten my CRT score from my math test!! AAAHH!! And I'm at a C in that class at the moment cuz I failed the last test. So hopefully I did well on my CRT. (Oh and don't worry. I'm going to go in and retake the test this week. So my grade will come up I promise.)
Anyway, that's all from me!! Love y'all!!

Random Stuff

Hey guys!! How's it going? Seems like it's been forever! It's been over a week!! Lol. Anyway, I have a few things to share.
So on Wednesday I had a choir concert. It was pretty fun! We did pretty well, and I had a good time hanging out with my friends.
I got my bangs cut today, so they're not monstrously long anymore!! Yay!!
Something not so great, my throat is sore at the moment. You know how your throat feels after you've been screaming your head off at a football game? Well, that's how it is. Which is really interesting, because I haven't been to any football games recently, and I also haven't been screaming for any number of hours lately.
Also, I wrote a poem. It's kinda depressing, but I think it's alright. Ready? Here you go:

Nothing But Sorrow

Used to wake with a smile
But the journey's old after all these miles.
Can't seem to find my way out
What's my story supposed to be about.

I journeyed with ease,
I chased all my dreams,
Everyday was full of light
But now it's dark as night.

The road's covered in broken glass
Ruining the simple walk I used to have.
They say that change helps us grow
But for me it's caused nothing but sorrow.

Ha ha. Well, I hope you liked it. If you have any suggestions, just let me know!! Well, I gotta go. Love you all!!

Something I Forgot to Tell You!!

I forgot to tell you guys something. When I started moving into my room, I turned on my iPod on my speakers, and the first song that came on was New Emotion by Ryan Shupe & the Rubberband. Lol. A pointless fact I know, but one that I think I will want to remember for some reason in the future. Lol. Anyway, that's all for today! Love y'all!

What Happens to Girls Who Sluff

I wrote a poem about one of my friends because she sluffed PE, which was really bad cuz she ended up missing fitness testing. So here ya go!

What Happens to Girls Who Sluff

There once was a girl who went to a school
Where she had to take PE.
But on her way to that class, she said
"This class ain't for me."
So she and her friend went away
Hoping to have some fun,
Little did they know that when they left
They would have to run.
They went to the store to get some food
When they saw Mr. Ray
So they ran passed him, and as they passed
They shouted, "Good day!"
They hurried back to the school
Hoping to be on time for class,
But when they reached the crosswalk,
The wind pushed them onto the grass.
Poor little girls, unable to get up
Laying there helplessly,
When along came a monster who stumbed and tripped,
And squashed them carelessly.
-Rachel
(In honor of Makayla Atkins)

Hope you liked it! And the moral of the story is, don't sluff!! Lol.
Love ya!

Injured

Hey guys! How's it going? How's life? Anything special going on? Ha ha. I'm in CompTech right now, and I'm done with my assignment. I managed to write another story about 5 minutes ago and read the stories that my friends wrote as well. . . interesting. Lol. Fun!
So here's the real reason for this post. Today in PE we were playing Flag Kickball. It's pretty tense! Whether you're outfield or infield, you're being chased, so you're constantly running and dodging and all that good stuff. Anyway, so outfielder wear the flags, and infielders kick the ball then try to get your flag. So I was outfield and Sierra told me that she was going to get me, but I kinda forgot. So I'm just standing there right, when all of a sudden there's this blonde haired personage running at me. (This is the part when I remembered that I was supposed to be running from Sierra.) So I pretty much screamed cuz she scared me to death, and I started running as fast as I could. I curved around the safe circle, and ran over by the rockwall. Well, thank goodnes for the padding that they have on that thing when we're not using it, cuz I spun on the wall, and then smacked my nose on it. Lol. I fell on the floor and I was laughing so hard cuz I was picturing in my head how stupid I must have looked. It was pretty wicked bad man.
So later, I was outfield again, and this time, Makayla told me she was going to get me. I remembered this time, but I still screamed. (It was pretty funny.) She started chasing me, and this time, I ran into the opposite wall where the whiteboard was, and totally took off skin. Ha ha. I was laughing again, but my elbow was swollen and I had this huge red mark on my arm, and my skin felt really hot and tender. Lol. This time I was grateful that there's not a ledge on this whiteboard. :D Ha ha. So ya, I was pretty torn up, but I tryed to be a good sport about it, and I was laughing.
After class, Makayla went with me to get a bag of ice for my nose and arm. Lol. My bag of ice is pretty much all melted now, so it feels cool on my arm. I'm a bit better now, but if any of you want to send flowers or any kind of get well gift, I won't complain. :D Jk.
Also, just to let you know, I'm moving into the den, most likely on Saturday. I'm soooo excited, I can hardly wait!! Lol. Anyway, I gotta go. Love you all!

Bored In CompTech

Hey guys, as you can probably tell by now, my friends and I get bored in CompTech. . . a lot!! So here's another one of the things we've conjured up in our minds. (And don't worry, I'm sure there will be many more before the school year's over.)

Counting Down the Days

You and I were swimming together
Until that horrible day when rain changed the weather
You said it was my fault
I said no it's yours
We got the row boat and paddled the oars
Back to the shore
Our swimming was nevermore

I'm counting down the days till I don't think of you no more
Can't stand to see your face in my mind
You broke my heart
And I broke yours
Why can't I just realize
That you're not coming back again

When you and I were fighting
Like no other before in the universe
You told me to leave
I said, no you
And you drove away in a herse
With that nurse
This love was just a curse

I'm counting down the days till I don't think of you no more
Can't stand to see your face in my mind
You broke my heart
And I broke yours
Why can't I just realize
That you're not coming back again

Sha la la la sha la la la
You and me are over
Sha la la la sha la la la
We will never be together
Sha la la la sha la la la (BU-DUM-PSH!)(*laugh-ha ha ha*)

I'm done counting down the days cuz I don't think of you no more
Won't stand to see your face in my mind
You broke my heart
AND I BROKE YOURS
YA I'VE JUST REALIZED
THAT YOU'RE NOT COMING BACK AGAIN. . .!

Shhhhh. . .
(whisper) *. . . You're gonna get it if you come back again. . .*
(BU NUH DU DU NUH NUH DU BU-DUM PSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!)

Smoothies and stuff

Hey guys! How's it going? My life is good . . . really good. (ha ha, that one's for you dad!)
Uh. . . oh ya! I just made a YUMMY smoothie!! It has peaches, berries, milk, ice, and peach yogurt in it. I created it with out a recipe so to you it might sound gross, but it's actually quite. . . delectable. Ha ha, I have never used that word before. That was fun!! And believe it or not, this smoothie has no sugar in it. So the "sugar high" you think I'm on must be some other sort of high. Maybe it's a high off of fruits. :)
Speaking of :), Lauren and I found two scripture smilies today!! The one I found is in Acts 10: 36. It's pretty cool, you can look at it if you want. And it's kinda funny cuz it has it right after it says Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all:) Isn't that cool? Anyway. . .
Today it rained! I was sooo happy! I was walking down to Rachel and Susie Johnson's house after church to get my jacket that I left there, and I got to walk in the rain. It was so peaceful. I love the sound and smell of rain! (I put some "Sounds of Rain" in the playlist at the bottom. It's the very last song on there. Anyway, after retrieving my jacket, I was walking home and I began to think about what rain could symbolize. You might think, "Well duh, do you not ever listen to music? It's like the epitome of sadness, Rachel-the -Dumbo." And I would say, "Actually, I do listen to music and I probably know more songs about rain than you. So HA!!" Lol. Anyway, so I was thinking, "Why is rain always about sadness and misery, when it's so beautiful and peaceful?" So I started to ponder on something happy that it would mean. And I figured it out, so I wrote a song about it. Here it is:

People say that rain is like hard times,
It's gray and dark, there's no light.
Or a reminder of all that won't last,
Weighing down and refusing to pass.

(Chorus)
But as I sit and listen to the rain fall on my window,
I'm reminded of God's love for me.
As I sit and think about all the times that I've been low,
And all the things that I've done wrong you see.
I don't think the rain is a symbol of my pain,
But of all the tears God cries for me.

They tell me that there's no way to get through,
And even if I try, there's nothing I can do.
They say there's no hope or answers for me
But I know that this can't be

Chorus

(Bridge)
I'm hiding in the corner, my head rested on my knees,
I'm crying my heart out in agony.
But as the rain gently falls, I know I'm not alone.
He is there beside me and in His arms, it's me He holds.

As I sit and listen to the rain fall on my window
I'm reminded of God's love for me.
As I sit I can't remember all the times that I've been low,
Or the things that I've done wrong you see.
I know that the rain is not a symbol of my pain,
But of all the tears God cries for me.

All the tears God cries for me.

Lol. I know it's kinda cheesy sounding, but it's really how I feel. So don't laugh!! :D Anyway, I gotta go think up a tune for this song now. So ttyl!!

Story

Hey guys! I wrote this story in CompTech. Hope you like it!

Once upon a time, there was a water droplet named Eliza. She had long blonde pigtails, hazel eyes, and a bright, positive outlook on life. She had just finished college, and was ready to work as a RainDrop.
Today she was excited because it was her first day as a RainDrop. In school, she had studied all the different lands down on the earth. She had researched every land from Japan to South Africa, but the place that had intrigued her most was Utah. This wonderful land was a desert, so they could really use her there. She felt that launching her career in that dry place would be a great experience.
Today was the day that she would leave the cloud of RainyDay, and pursue her dream. Eliza had twenty minutes before she needed to be at the ThunderStorm station, so she decided to go and say goodbye to her best friend, Cali.
Eliza splashed out into the street and flowed with the crowd until she arrived at Cali’s house.
“Hey Cali!” Eliza said when Cali had opened the door.
“Hi Eliza!” replied Cali.
“I’m going to Utah for the first time in just a few minutes. I just came to say goodbye.”
“Oh. I’m so excited for you!” Cali cried with happiness. “I’ll miss you! I’m going to Australia, so I might not be here when you get back.”
“Well good luck!” Eliza said.
“You too!” Cali returned. “You know the cycle. We won’t be gone too long.”
“That’s right!” Eliza agreed. “We’ll see each other really soon.”
“Yep! Bye Eliza!”
“Bye!” called Eliza as she flowed away with the crowd again.
When Eliza arrived at the ThunderStorm station, she saw a large number of RainDrops crowded around the holes in the misty ground. She hung back, watching how the others did it so that she wouldn’t mess up. She was just about to have second thoughts, when a voice behind her said, “It’s not as hard as it looks.”
Eliza turned around. The voice had come from a young man, maybe a couple of years older than her.
“Oh ya?” Eliza said. “And who says I don’t know how to do it?”
The man laughed, “Well, the fact that you have a terrified look on your face says it all. Oh, and you’re being really defensive about it,” he added.
Eliza blushed a dark blue. “I have to admit that it does look hard.”
“There’s nothing to it!” he reassured her. “I’m Danny by the way.”
Eliza smiled. “Eliza. So want go give me some tips?”
Danny grinned. “Sure Eliza! Here’s the trick: you’re going to want to jump through the hole like you’re diving, then spin as you go through the air. This will make it so that when you fall, you will roll instead of splatter. It’s not too hard I promise. Want me to go first so you can watch me?”
“Sure,” Eliza said, trying to sound confident. It was finally their turn and they were standing by the farthest hole on the right.
Danny smiled up at Eliza. “You watching?”
“Yep,” replied Eliza. “Go ahead!”
Danny gave her one last look, took a deep breath then, he dove into the hole. Eliza watched as he plummeted downward, spinning faster and faster. She watched until she couldn’t see him anymore, then took in a breath and she dove.
Faster and faster she went. Down, down, down! She started to spin speeding up more and more until she thought she would possibly fling apart. Before she knew it, she was on the ground. She had expected it to hurt, but instead, she seemed to gently tap the earth and she somersaulted gracefully a couple of inches before stopping. She lay on the ground trying to take in the glorious sight around her. There were RainDrops falling everywhere, touching the ground softly like a feather. She noticed that as more and more RainDrops covered the earth, the ones that were still falling would bounce slightly when they landed.
“So, how was it?”
Eliza looked up to see Danny smiling down at her. “It was incredible!” Eliza said. “I wasn’t even scared! It was actually kind of fun!”
“Well,” laughed Danny. “I’m glad you enjoyed yourself.”
Danny’s dark hair was blowing in the breeze, his blue eyes shining with the thrill of falling hundreds of feet through the air. Eliza couldn’t help but notice his deep, soothing voice, and his happy personality that made it easy for him to laugh.
“Eliza?”
“What?” Eliza said, jolting awake from her trance.
“Are. . .you okay?” Danny asked, sounding concerned.
“What? Oh ya, I’m fine,” Eliza replied, embarrassed.
“Okay. Well, now we’re supposed to stand close to each other and hold hands.”
“What?!” Eliza asked, thinking he meant just the two of them, although, she didn’t really mind the idea.
“Our job is to stand next to each other, hold hands and jump,” Danny said, noticing the confused look in her eyes. “We need to try to get moisture into the ground, and the only way to do that is to jump. Ready?”
“Yes,” Eliza replied, embarrassed, but a little sad that he hadn’t meant what she had thought he had meant. She took hold of his outstretched hand, and the hand of a neighboring RainDrop and they began to jump along with everyone else.
The more and more they did it, the softer the ground became. As Eliza looked up toward the sky, she saw that RainDrops were still falling, and as she looked around, she saw them bouncing and rolling, and starting to jump. Finally, the ground was so soft, that they couldn’t jump anymore. So they all clapped and cheered because their job was done. Finally, the last RainDrops fell and they all sat down to rest. Sun became visible, shining through RainyDay as LightRays began to shoot toward them.
They picked up the RainDrops and started rising up, taking them back to RainyDay. Two LightRays fell gently beside Eliza and Danny, picked them up, and slowly began to take them back home. Eliza’s LightRay was named Makayla, and Danny’s was a LightRay named Matt. Another LightRay named Rachel rose up with them and made sure they didn’t fall.
“Makayla and Matt are in training right now,” Rachel explained. “I’m just making sure they don’t go too fast, or drop you.”
Eliza smiled, knowing that she wasn’t the only one that was doing her job for the first time. She looked over at Danny, and caught his eye. He quickly looked away. Eliza grinned. Maybe he does like me, she thought.
Finally after a little while, they arrived back at RainyDay. They thanked the LightRays and watched them soar gracefully back toward Sun.
Eliza turned to Danny. “Thanks for your help,” she said.
“Anytime!” Danny replied. “We should hang out sometime.”
“Ya, we should!” Eliza agreed, trying not to skip about with excitement at the suggestion. Danny looked like he was restraining from doing the same thing. They smiled at each other and said their goodbyes.
As Eliza flowed away, she looked back. Danny was still standing there, watching her go. She grinned, waved, and continued on.

Well, one thing lead to another, and Eliza and Danny got married after a few months of RainDating. And just to let you know. . .
They lived happily ever after.

Bitter-Sweet

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. . ." ha ha. Sound familiar? Well, if you live in Utah right now, it should make sense!! Last week was Spring Break. . . But it was snowing!! Now we're back at school, and the weather is perfect!! How lame-o?
I loved being back at school with the rest of my friends, but I was sooooo no ready to get up this morning. Last night, I ended up laying in bed for almost an hour before I could get to sleep. Ha ha, and when my alarm clock went off this morning, I almost wet myself cuz I was so scared. :D
In my CompTech class, we're making powerpoints about ourselves, and we had to put a picture of our "Family Car" on there. Lol, so my friend and I went online and were trying to find the most amazing cars we could find to put on there. This is the one I found.
What do ya think?! Ha ha.
I wish we had that car. Lol. Seriously.
Anyway, what else. ..
Oh ya! Spencer is moving out in about a week and a half. Sad, but exciting for him!! Also, when he moves out, I'm probably going to move into the den. I'm so happy! It's great cuz it has built-in shelves and a better closet, and I like the window better. So I'm totally psyched!!
Lol. Anyway, I gotta go. So ttyl! And remember: Love yourself, for if you don't, how can you expect anyone else to? Ha ha. Deep I know, but it's actually a quote but I can't find who it's by. But remember it all the same. Love you all!!
Love-
Rachel
Hey guys! Guess what?! I probably get to move into the den! I'm so excited! I started cleaning out my room yesterday and i'm almost done! Yay!

Easter!

Hey guys!! Guess what?! I spoke in sacrament meeting today! I thought I would be scared, but I was actually pretty okay with it! I think part of it was that I was wearing a whole new outfit! (I'll put a picture of it on later.) But for the most part I think it was that I said a prayer and after that, I was so much more calm. I was actually calm enough to smile and not be monotone while I spoke!! Ha ha. Anyway, preparing this talk actually reminded me of Easter is truly about.
So, here's my talk:

Good morning. My name is Rachel Covert and today I've been asked to speak about the Atonement.
The Bible Dictionary says, "Jesus Christ, as the Only Begotten Son of God and the only sinless person to live on this earth, was the only one capable of making an atonement for mankind."
He lived perfectly, bled in the garden of Gethsemane, died on the cross and then, 3 days later, was resurrected.
In the garden of Gethsemane, Christ suffered for our sins. He trembled in agony, bleeding from every pore. Because of this, we are able to repent for the things we've done wrong and be forgiven. Without being able to repent, we wouldn't be able to obtain eternal salvation.
As a student in high school, I don't always see or hear the best things happening around me. It seems to me that it would be impossilbe to go from day to day without knowing that I can make up for the things that I've done wrong. I feel so sad for those who don't know about the Atonement, or for those who don't accept it.
Because of the Atonement, we will all be resurrected fro the .
In 1 Corinthians 15:20-22 it says "But now is Christ risen from the , and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came , by man came also the resurrection of the . For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."
When Christ suffered in Gethsemane, he didn't just feel our sins, he felt the agony of all our physical, and emotional pains as well. Elder Merrill J. Bateman once said "The Atonement was an intimate, personal experience in which Jesus cam to know how to help each of us."
he can help us through all of our trials because, through the Atonement, he knows exactly how it feels to be in those situations. Our Savior felt each of our pains individually, so he knows how to help each of us personally.
The Atonement is infinite and it's for everyone. In Alma 34:10 it says "For it is expedient that there should be a great and last sacrifice; yea, not a sacrifice of man, neither of beast, neither of any manner of fowl; for it shall not be a human sacrifice; but it must be an infinite and eternal sacrifice."
I would like to close by bearing my testimony. (then I bore my testimony from the depths of my soul, and then. . .) In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

So . .. Did you like it? Well, if you didn't, keep it to yourself cuz it's too late cuz it's already been given. :)
Well, I hope you all have a Happy Easter! And remember, SMILE!! cuz you never know who might need it today.
Love y'all!
Love-
Rachel
PS. Changed the background again. . . as you've probably noticed. What?! I get bored a lot ok? Lol. Anyway, at the top under where it says "Don't Forget", it now says "tell it like a lie, live it like a movie" I was having troubles reading it, so I thought I'd let you know what it said in case you're having trouble too. That line is from a song called "Desperation" by Miranda Lambert which can be listened to on MyFaves at the bottom of the page. It's near the bottom of the playlist. It's a pretty amazing song, I suggest listening to it.

Song Stories

I wrote up a bunch of song lyrics and now I'm going to try to make them into a story.
Here it goes!!

"Share the secrets that you've kept in cuz it's cold inside." (guy)
"Ok. Well . . . I think of you from time to time and in between. Your turn!!" (lady)
"Ummm. . . I can't breathe without you but I have to." (guy)
"Tell me why!!" (lady)
"It won't be long till the summer's gone, and well, you might find that you're my second choice. . ." (guy)
"There's too many barriers. . . wait. what?!" (lady)
-lady #2 knocks on the door. guy opens it-
-lady falls on knees-
"Please don't take him just because you can!!" (lady)
"But I can't help falling in love!!" (lady #2)
"What kind of world do you want? Well?!" (lady)
"Don't cry to me, cry to him! He's the one that lied to you!"
-lady turns to guy-
"I want you and your beautiful soul!!" (lady)
"Look. For so long my heart was breaking, then she came along. I'm sorry." (guy)
"You're not sorry!" (lady)
"Dude chill!" (guy)
"It's obvious how much you wanted anyone but me. Will you hold her hand?"
"Of course. Look, I'm sorry. At this point in my life, you're just not the one. I'll find you someday." (guy)
"I'm not going to stand here and wait." (lady)
"I probably shouldn't say this, but- " (lady #2)
"HUSH!!"(lady)
"Am I going to stay? Uh, no." (lady)
"Will you go." (guy)
"Am I going to leave? I don't think so." (lady #2)
"Hey ho! I wanna go now. You know, it was amazing how you could speak right to my heart. But you really should quit with all the lies you're telling. That one afternoon, all I needed was that phone call that never came, and I nearly fell apart. And you know the pictures of you, pictures of me, on my wall? Well, I'm going to rip it out, remove it. I hope you're happy. She will love you more than I could. I'm leaving now, and you'll never have me back cuz it's too late to catch me now."
-lady walks out the door.-
So as this lady walked away, she thought, "How could I have been so stupid? Should I turn back? No. Don't turn back, just keep on walking." But as she turned the corner, she did look back. He was standing there, holding the hand of that other lady, and laughing with her. As much as the betrayed lady wanted to break down and cry, she didn't. She kept it together. And as she took her last glimpse of him, she whispered,"Please, don't forget."

Ha ha. That was fun. I tried to make it dramatic at the end, but i don't know if it worked that well. Oh well!! Lol. Well, I gotta go to bed. Night y'all!
Love-
Rachel

New Blog Layout. . . Again!!

You'll notice, again, that I have changed the look of my blog, and the title. The title is now, 'Don't Forget', which is the title of a song by Demi Lovato. Anyway, I hope you like it.
This weekend was conference!! Don't you just love General Conference? I do!! I love listening to the talks and feeling the Spirit. I also love being able to have some family time. What I also enjoy about it is being able to sleep in a bit and then getting to wear my pajamas all day!! I think my favorite talk was. . . I don't remember his name, but he was from Portugal or something and he was part of the Quorum of the 70. It went him, then another guy, then Elder Perry. Anyway, I loved his talk about the whole GPS System thing. It was very clever and inspiring.
I got a call this afternoon, and guess what I get to do! I get to speak on Sunday!! Lol. Tragic, but kind of cool at the same time. I get to speak on the Atonement. This is kind of a coinkinkidink because that's what I'm reading about in the the scriptures right now. Maybe not so much coinkinkidink, but more inspired probably. Anyway, if anyone has a favorite scripture or quote about the Atonement, it would be muy muy appreciated. :D
Hmmm. . . what else. . . Oh ya!
Mom is going out of town on Tuesday for Alicen's wedding in Texas. So it will just be me, Dad, and occasionally Spencer here. I am going to be in charge of meals and chores and, according to Dad, much much more. *sigh* I guess it will be ok. We'll miss mom but she deserves to get away for a while. Oh! And Loryn, if you read this before tomorrow (Monday) remind me to tell Dad to get a garage door opener! Or else I'm going to be locked out everyday after school. Not the teenage dream, I tell you.
Last night, Mom and I went to Roberts to get beads to make bracelets for her visiting teaching people. Roberts is right next to Deseret Book, and it was Women's Night there. Man I'm glad we weren't going there! The line was huge and it was freezing outside!! Anyway, we got into Roberts and it was a bit busy but not too bad. We got a bunch of beads and had much fun.
So today during conference, we made six bracelets. It was fun, but a lot of work.
Ha ha. After I tell you this next part, you're going to think I'm like a 3 year old or something, but anyway. Mom asked me what I wanted to do during conference. I thought for a minute and said that I wanted a coloring book and crayons. Mom gave me that 'are-you-serious?' look and laughed. I was like, ya I'm serious! I want Hello Kitty and Mickey Mouse! So Mom was like, Ok! So on Saturday morning, I came out and sat down to watch and after the opening prayer, Mom brought out a grocery bag that had two coloring books and crayons. The two coloring books were Hello Kitty, and Sesame Street (because she couldn't find Mickey Mouse). And the crayons, you'll never believe this, it was a box of 96 crayons! pencil sharpener included! and a space to put your name! Ha ha. See? Now you think I'm a 3 year old. But I'm not. I just like to color things. It's one of my favorite things to do with kids when I babysit them.
Anyway, now that we've had a look at the immature side of Rachel Covert, I have to go. Love you all!
Love-
Rachel
PS. Don't judge me!!

New Blog Layout!!

Hey guys! You probably noticed that my blog looks different. Not only is the background different, but I also changed the title at the top. It says Bring on the Rain. This is from a song I found by Tim McGraw. This is a song about how we all have hard times, but it's okay because we can take it! Lol. I think the title sounds like it has attitude. I kinda like it! I think it'll be my motto from now on. . .
Anyway. . . I hope you like it! Love you all and remember to "be thirsty" for when the rain comes. :D

I heart Gum

I only have one thing to say today. This really cute guy gave me a piece of gum in Spanish today. And not only did I love it cuz he's very cute, but also because I was the only person that wasn't a boy that he gave one to. Oh ya, and when his first pack was empty, he opened up a new one just to give me a piece. Isn't that adorable? :D
Oh and Loryn, I found out that he's a Sophomore. He tried to lie and say that he's a Senior, but Kaleiow ratted him out for me. :)
Anyway, that's all for today. Love you all!!

Dancing

Last night was the multi-stake dance! It was a blast! So for any of you who are over 14 and didn't go, shame shame cuz it was fun! Lol, I danced my heart out most of the time and just kind of hung out the for the rest of it. We did the Macarena, the Cha Cha Slide and Thriller. Also, there were a lot of slow dances. I danced with Andrew Holman twice, Estaban Startup once and I also danced with an autistic boy, Kevin. It was so much fun!
I danced a slow dance with Andrew which was hilarious cuz he talks about the most random things. But then I danced a fast song with him. . . HOLY COW!! He grabs you and you like tango around everywhere and he's spinning you and being dumb. Ha ha. It was good. Then there's Estaban. I was dancing with him to the song Had a Bad Day and he was singing to me the song, but he was changing all the words. So it went more like:

You had a day
you're feeling so bad
you sing a good song
just to feel rad

It was horrible!! Lol. I was laughing though.
It was just hilarious. And I must say, the Macarena and the Cha Cha Slide are like the funnest dances ever!! Lol. Anyway, I gotta go. Have an amazing day!

STATE CHAMPIONS!!

Last night I went to the last PHS basketball game, and as usual WE WON!! We totally killed Springville 61 to 36! And Brandon Davies, Kyle Collinsworth, and Scott Franse were dunking it and were totally taking over the court! It was pretty amazing! My throat is kind of sore from screaming too ha ha.
Today I am going over to Lauren Frary's house to work on our english project! We have to take a scene from Romeo and Juliet and turn it into a modern movie. It's going to be great fun! We are doing the scene where Tybalt kills Mercutio and Romeo kills Tybalt. So we get to chase each other atound and fake kill each other.
Also, tonight I'm going to Brick Oven with the Mia Maids presidency and then I'm going to the Stake Dance!! I'm so excited!!
Anyway, I have to go get ready to go to Lauren's house. Love you all!

Embarrassing Moments!!

Hey guys! How's it going? Tonight is the last home game for PHS! So you all had better come!! I'm planning on us winning cuz we're undefeated. :D
Anyway, on to my embarrassing moments!
Well, to start off with. . . there's this guy in my Spanish class and my math class. He's a foreign exchange student from Zimbabwe. He's not black, he's more like. . . Arabian looking I guess. . ? Anyway, he has this wicked accent that makes it hard to understand what he's saying sometimes. (It doesn't help that he talks really fast too.) In Spanish one day, he saw me and said, "Hey Rachel Covert! What's up?" Well, since he talks really fast, I thought he had said Rachel . So of course I was like, "What did you say?" He looked really confused and all that, then I finally realized what he had really said, and he figured out what I thought he said. So now whenever he sees me he says, "Hey Rachel ! How are you today?" Lol. At first it was really annoying but now I think it's kind of funny. This isn't the embarrassing part. I haven't even got there yet. So I had told my friends about this, and of course Loryn goes, "I have to meet this kid! He sounds sooo funny!" So yesterday at lunch, we saw him in the hall. Rachel Johnson goes, "Loryn look! There he is!" And you can imagine Loryn, "Where?! Where?! I don't see him!!" He was like right in front of her too. It was pretty hilarious. . . until Loryn saw him and says, "Oh my gosh!! That's him? Rachel! He is cute!" I was laughing, and my face was turning bright red cuz I was embarrassed and I was laughing really hard. Luckily he didn't know we were talking about him. But with all the racket, he looked over and saw me and of course, "Hi Rachel !!" aargh. My life is so annoying sometimes. Oh, and I'm not done! Today at lunch was even more fun. Loryn saw him by the vending machines and she goes around to the other side to the other machines. She started laughing hysterically when he greeted me in his special way, then she said, "Who said that?" She goes over to him and says, "Oh! You're the one who calls her Rachel !" He just said, "Yep!" Loryn started laughing again, and I just laughed a little bit and said, "Ok, let's go." So we started walking away, and he and his friends started following us. Loryn kept going, "Rachel! He's really cute! You should like him! Maybe I'll have him instead!" I was just like, "Ok. . . Go right ahead. I don't really care." I just barely realized that I haven't even told you his name! Loryn calls him HoshKimBaba! (don't ask) but his real name is Humza Mohammed. So if you put that together with Loryn's nick name, it would be HoshKimBaba Humza Mohammed. Haha! Love it! Lol.
Now I'm not gonna lie. He is kinda cute, and his accent is kinda cool and everything, but I don't like him like that. I just think he's a good friend. So Loryn, you can have him. :D
Anyway, that was my embarrassing moment for the week. . . hopefully. I'm hoping that nothing happens at the game! (Let's keep our fingers crossed for that!)
Well, I gotta go. Love you all!
Love- Rachel
PS. Notice my new background and stuff! Doesn't it rock? And also, sorry about there not being a poll yet. My computer is being dumb and it's not letting me do it. So maybe I'll try to do it on someone else's computer. Anyway, I'll get that up as soon as I can. Also, be looking for new pictures on my blog and facebook. Once I get my dad's memory card thingy, there will be new pictures up! :D

Hey guys!

Hola! How are you guys?
Some new things have been happening. First of all, I don't have a C- in math anymore! I have a B+! Yay!
Also, my hair has actually been cooperating. Isn't it amazing?! Ha ha. It makes it so much easier to get ready in the morning.
Today I came home early from school because I wasn't feeling well. I'm feeling a little better now, but still not all the way there. So, sorry I'm not at basketball tonight guys! I wouldn't be much help anyway.
As of last Sunday, I'm the First Counselor in the Mia Maids' Presidency. I'm really enjoying it so far. I love helping plan ways for all of us Young Women to become better friends. It's pretty fabulous!
I've found someone that I kinda like. . . if you get my drift. Ha ha. and don't ask who it is cuz I'm not going to say. And no Loryn, it's not "HoshKimBaba"! Lol.
I found a song that I really like! It's called Famous in a Small Town by Miranda Lambert. It's about how in a small town anyone can be famous whether you are in jail, just broke up with your boyfriend, or if you bought the first copy of a book. Lol. It's a really good song. It's on my playlist if you want to listen to it.
Anyway, I hope everyone is doing wonderfully, and remember, keep a smile on you face cuz it could make someone's day! Love you all!
Love- Rachel
PS. If anyone is looking for birthday ideas for my mom, just get her a poster of the Geico gecko with his hands held up like he's surrendering. She loves it! :D

Hmmm. . .

Hello all! Man it's been forever! ha ha. Well, a lot of stuff has happened, but not really anything worth talking about. Lol. Uh. . .
I learned how to have a love affair in seminary. Wait that sounded wrong. Let's try that again. I learned how to have a love affair with my scriptures in seminary. Ha ha. Sorry about that people! Anyway, ya. It was pretty cool!
My mom is going to Idaho right now to visit my grandma with my aunt Anita. I couldn't go cuz I missed school on Monday. :D
Uh. . . wow. This is a boring post!
Oh ya! My mom and I went scarf shopping yesterday. Ha ha that was fun. I enjoy shopping. . . maybe a little too much. Lol. My mom got a green scarf and a red one. I also got a green one but it looks different than the one she got. My mom also got me some new shirts from Costco. Love that store!! Thanks Mom!! And then when I got home from school today, turned out my mom had gotten me and her matching scarves from GAP! Mine is pink and red striped and hers is dark and light blue. They are so cute! I'm wearing mine on Valentine's Day!
Which brings me to a new topic, I'm going to wear pink and red on Valentine's Day and I think it would be fun if everyone at least tried to!! Also, I'm wondering how many break-ups and make-ups there are going to be in this lovely loving season. Ha ha. This could get interesting!
Lol, anyway, I have to go do chores. So ttyl! Love you all!

Good Times

Hey guys! How's it going? Today I had a really good day. I can't figure out why, but I just did. I felt somehow like I acted more like myself today. Hmmmm. . . Anyway, I went to the orthodontist after school today and got my wire bent and everything to work on the details of my teeth. Now they hurt! Aaah!
After the orthodontist, my mom and I went to the store to get a couple things for dinner, and she let me get a slice of cheesecake. Since I'm trying to eat healthier, I got the kind with cherries on it. And I know that a lot of people don't think that makes a difference, but it does! I promise! I also got Hawaiian pizza today at lunch. Pineapple! It made it so much healthier!
So if you look on the side of the page where the pictures are, there is a picture of these shoes that Spencer ordered. Don't get me wrong now, I think they're pretty cool, but he thinks they're the coolest things on the planet. Ha ha, he put them on and started ing them for me. It was hilarious!
Right now I'm listening to The Blitzkrieg Bop. Ha, this one is fun to do on Rockband. Isn't it the cheer that you do at football games? Aye Oh! Let's go! Don't you do that at football games? Sister Schnegelberger didn't think so, but I was pretty sure. . .
I have a Physics test and stuff tomorrow, so I have to go study. Ttyl! Love ya!

Hey guys, I really have nothing to say. I'm just really bored. Ummm. . .
I presented my project in geography today, and I got an A!! I was so happy! Ha ha. That's it I guess.
I just thought of an activity to occupy myself. So I'm going to be done for now. I'll probably be back later. Love ya!

New Poll

Hey guys, you've probably noticed that I do a lot of polls. Well, I think it keeps things interesting. I've decided to do a poll every month, and that will add up to be a lot of months. So if you have any ideas for upcoming polls, feel free to leave comments. If you don't know how to leave a comment, it's at the bottom of each post. You click on the link, type in your comment, and do like a word verification or something. It's really easy. Anyway, new poll:
I chose to do this one because spring is coming up in a little while. So to get us in the springy mood, you're going to vote for your favorite flower. Sorry if yours isn't on there, just pick out of the options that I put on there. I tried to do ones that are really common, so ya.
Oh! And if you want to know how long you have to vote, you can look at the bottom of the place where you click on your vote, or you can just listen to me when I say that the poll closes on the 31st of January (this month) at 11:59 PM. So you have a while.
Enjoy!

Winner of Poll

Hey guys! It's time to announce the winner of the poll!
This poll was to determine who the most favored actor is.
And the winner is. . .(drum roll). . .
Patrick Dempsey
(couldn't find much on him, but here's a couple things)
Birthday: January 13
Hobbies: Acting, car racing
Fun fact: He recycles

Congrats Patrick Dempsey!

New Years Resolutions

Hey guys! Happy New Year! It's finally 2009! Ha ha, I've come up with 10 new years goals that I'm going to work on throughout the year. I'm going to list them so if you notice that I'm not doing them, you can slap me and tell me to start doing them. So here they are:

1. Be more willing to help other people
2. Be more nice
3. Not complain so much
4. Laugh really hard at least once a day
5. Be myself
6. Read the scriptures and pray daily
7. Make someone smile everyday
8. Build a stronger relationship with my family
9. Do better in school
10. Don't judge others. Get to know them before judging them

So there you go! Ummm. . . ya. I'm serious about all of them. I'm really going to do it! So for example, if you notice that I haven't really laughed that day, act like a clown or something to make me laugh. Lol. Do whatever it takes! Anyway, if you have any suggestions on how to do some of these, that would be great! Well, I gotta go. Love ya!
